현재 ABRSM은 모든 시험신청 및 응시료 납부와 결과확인까지 가능한 새로운 시스템을 구축하여 영국 및 몇몇 국가에서 실시하고 있습니다. 이 시스템을 전세계에 신속히 적용하기 위하여 부단히 노력하고 있으나, 안정적인 구동을 위해 예상보다 많은 시간이 소요되고 있습니다.

현재 원격평가 연주 그레이드 실기시험을 준비하고 있는 분들을 위해, 다음과 같은 조언을 드립니다:
- 시험관이 방문하는 대면평가를 치르는 수험자는 대부분 늦은 시험일시를 선호하였으나, 새로운 원격평가는 미리 녹화해서 온라인으로 제출하는 방식이기 때문에 수험자가 준비가 되고 컨디션이 최상일 때 촬영하는 것이 중요합니다.
- 수험자는 언제든지 시험 제출용 동영상 녹화를 할 수 있지만, 영국에서 녹화 예시 동영상이 공지되면 그 포맷을 다시 한 번 확인하고 본인의 동영상을 녹화하는 것을 권합니다.
- 시험 제출용 동영상을 녹화하기 전에, 반드시 촬영 기기 해상도, 장소, 각도, 소리의 균형 등을 다양하게 테스트를 해야 합니다.

Currently, ABRSM has developed a new system which lets the applicants do everything from exam booking and payment to checking results with one account, and it has been used in the UK and several other countries. Many efforts have been poured into speedily delivering this service worldwide; however, for a smooth and stable running of the system, it requires a lot longer time than we expected.
 
For everyone who is preparing for the Performance Grade Exam, we would like to advise as following:

- For the face-to-face practical exam, most candidates naturally preferred later exam date. Since the new remotely-assessed exam will have the candidate submit a pre-recorded video online and grade will be given based on the submission, it is much more important to make the video-recording when the candidate is ready in the best condition.
- You may record the video submission anytime at your own choice, but we encourage you to check the sample video for recording when it is published by ABRSM UK before the actual recording for the submission.
- We strongly recommend that you test the recording device, the resolution, recording location, camera angle and sound balance before recording for the submission.
